Granny Square Cookies - Sugar and Meringue

I saw these on the CRAFT blog and just had to share.

Aren’t they just too cute for words? These little squares of adorableness combine yummy cookies and pretty, hand-piped, granny square stitches. I wish I had a steady enough hand to make these. As it is, I’ll have to continue crocheting granny squares, but not baking them.
So, who’s gonna bake them for me?
